notme.bot
Open-source identity layer for AI agents using cryptographic self-sovereign identity
About notme.bot
notme.bot is an open-source specification and identity layer designed to give AI agents their own cryptographic identity instead of using human bearer tokens and credentials. It implements self-sovereign identity with proof-of-possession certificates, replacing traditional steal-and-use bearer tokens for commit signing, GitHub Actions, HTTP authentication, and other API calls. Agents get short-lived, ephemeral certificates (Ed25519) with per-repository scope and near-real-time revocation capabilities, ensuring compromised agents don't have access to all human credentials.
